CHICKEN AIR SACS AND MESENTERY: A HISTOMORPHOMETRICAL AND IMMUNOLOGICAL STUDY

Fat-associated lymphoid clusters (FALCs) are novel tissues that have been reported in the mesenteric and mediastinal fat tissue of mouse human. It plays role progression respiratory intestinal inflammation parasitic infestations. However, their occurrence chicken air sacs adipose has not yet identified. Here we investigated distribution FALCs (cervical, clavicular, thoracic, abdominal) healthy chicken. The latter mesentery were immediately harvested after anesthesia cutting heads then fixed 4% paraformaldehyde fixative solution for histopathological examination. degree development among different specimens was measured statistically analyzed. Our results revealed associating with mesentery, (clavicular, abdominal), but cervical one.
